Political position? edit
Is it really fair to consider Cambiemos as a whole as center-right? 2 of the 3 member parties are not listed as center-right by Wikipedia, and although Republican Proposal is the largest, the other two still hold about half of the seats. I believe that center to center-right would be a more accurate description, but I would like to check. Ninja0428 Talk 13:33, 1 June 2019 UTC
The main party UCR are part of the Socialist International (https://www.socialistinternational.org/about-us/members/). Their politics in many aspects due resemble more to moderate center left coalitions of the region, similar like "Concertacion" in Chile. This article should be adjusted accordingly and put the coalition to "center-left", no matter of the widespread callout of being the right in Argentina, which is driven by it's main oposition FdT and used in a despective way. 2003:6:1122:A264:A88D:821B:638E:2462 (talk) 21:20, 26 October 2020 (UTC)
Leader edit
The infobox mentions Larreta as the leader of the coalition, and cites an article of El Pais for it. However, the article itself makes it relative: "La oposición argentina parece tener ya un líder." "The argentine opposition seems to get a leader". That was El País analysis over the news of the day (when Larreta kept the schools open despite of the national government's preference), predicting that Larreta may emerge as the leader of JXC. But that prediction did not come to pass. Macri is still the most noteworthy political figure in it (as a result of being the former president and founder of PRO), but others question that leadership. Check for example this article written today at La Nación. It seems that Macri made a comment on Twitter about a former president of the UCR, the "hawks" support him, Gerardo Morales did not like it, and asked him to step aside and let Larreta and Bullrich grow as leaders of the party. So, we have Macri, who is still active as seen as the leader by the "hawks", Larreta and Bullrich, who are growing, and Morales, who wants to UCR to have a greater clout within the coalition. That's quite the opposite thing to a party like the FDT, where Cristina Kirchner may not be the president or have a formal leadership of the party, but whatever she says, everybody in the party endorses (even the president); and the "leader" field in the infobox would be justified to point such leadership.

Why is this page so different? edit
I just went on the List of political parties in Argentina page and the party is listed as completely different to this one. Mentioning "Right-wing to far-right" factions, and more. Why is that the case? ZlatanSweden10 (talk) 11:24, 24 November 2023 (UTC)
