Common Vs. Latin edit

I feel this should be called "Gray Pansy" rather than Junonia atlites, because most (all?) other articles on animals classify them by normal name, and then proceed to tell the scientific name. If the author (or anyone) approves, I'll move it.La Pizza11 03:17, 2 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

This works fine for the Bird and Mammal articles where there has been some effort to standardize common names. In most other taxa, the binomials are far more stable. I would leave it until I learn that it is called Gray Pansy all over its distribution range. Shyamal 03:22, 2 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sentences edit

Wikipedia currently has over 3,600,000 articles that are edited by over 150,000 active editors. Therefore, as an encyclopaedia used as a reference source by readers – and the majority of visitors are in fact readers – it is important that pages and articles are optimised for this readership. This article is written as from a scientific journal; perhaps even copied from one. In order to maintain the reliability of the information the transfer into sentence structure should be done by an expert in the field. I would attempt but my fear is that I might missconstrue the meaning. Buster Seven Talk 14:48, 24 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
