No Soul, misses the point. edit

It misses the point. Wells was a musical maestro and superb entertainer/performer.
He and Little Walter were the best blues harmonica players in the world.
I'm guessing they were also the best harmonica players in the world.
Arguably, they still are. But harp players get no "popular" respect, more so for the irreverent. .
And 3 Grammy nominations, including Come On In This House (Album): https://www.grammy.com/grammys/artists/junior-wells

Two maestros on Youtube, find: "Buddy Guy and Junior Wells at Montreux, 1974"

We are talking top blues royalty here, but the article gives not even a hint.

I'm not sure this warrants a mention but Cleopatra Records, with the blessing of Junior Wells' estate, have been releasing "new" songs featuring, well, his "voice" for a few months now: https://www.guitarworld.com/news/junior-wells-ai-single-2023 Jules TH 16 (talk) 08:51, 8 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
