"The jungle girl is depicted as wearing a scanty animal skin as a dress or bikini and is always barefoot." --- I see that this is also mentioned in the articles of various specific characters listed on this page -- apparently it is a topic of interest to some editors. :-) While I am no expert on the subject of Jungle Girls myself, I assume that in modern film versions they may be depicted wearing sandals or leather moccasins, as actresses might not be expected to go barefoot on location shoots. A photo here [www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1769723/replies?c=22], found with a Google search on "Sheena", though I have no idea who is really depicted. -- 201.37.229.117 (talk) 11:17, 27 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
As other editors have noted, a fetishist vandal, using mutliple sockpuppet accounts, has gone around adding "barefoot" comments to a number of articles about fictional female characters. Related or not, the original account seems to be User:Creepy Crawler. See [1] -- Tenebrae (talk) 19:54, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
In this instance, User:TheOuterLimits seems to be the guilty party, judging by this article's history list. BOZ (talk) 20:27, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
