Wuhan coup
editHi @RGloucester: Wuhan coup was moved to Nanjing–Wuhan split, and now redirects there -- should it redirect here? Also is the day known as the "Wuhan–Communist split" (per the lead), or is it another term for the broader Nanjing–Wuhan split? Thanks, ~Hydronium~Hydroxide~(Talk)~ 23:02, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
- Nanjing–Wuhan split is about the Wuhan KMT government splitting from Chiang's KMT faction in Nanjing. 'Wuhan–Communist split' is about the Wuhan KMT government purging communists from that government, hence in PRC and communist historiography, it is considered a 'coup'. I expect that 'Wuhan coup' should redirect here. RGloucester — ☎ 23:30, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
- I've fixed the redirect. Alex Shih (talk) 23:35, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
- Actually, having looked at it...that article started as being about this event, but a user completely changed its contents earlier this year...perhaps we can merge that article's content to Wuhan government...it seems these articles all arose in a bit of a mess...RGloucester — ☎ 01:18, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
