Her notability is mainly as C. S. Peirce's second wife. This is a spin-off article from the main Peirce article, where there simply isn't room to cover this stuff. She is a central figure of enduring interest in Charles's difficult and complicated life. There's been a lot written about her, there's mystery about her, there's even a popular-style novel and a poetic book about her and Charles. The Tetrast (talk) 22:00, 25 May 2012 (UTC).Reply
