PRODDING edit

Hi @Semmendinger: and @Anutza 1: please stop reverting each other's edits and come and chat here. Domdeparis (talk) 13:24, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

I am the person that added the PROD tag as the article does not prove notability but it is possible that the person is notable but as it stands the article clearly doesn't show that and without improvement it should not stay. Domdeparis (talk) 13:25, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
Please don't call me out as if I'm doing something wrong. I've explained myself on his talk page twice. He removed the AfD tag and I restored it, that's it. I have no stake in this page, I patrol recent changes and restore templates whens someone breaks the rules in removing one. That's not reverting an edit, it's issuing a warning. As for the paragraph, I was edit conflicted when putting the content back as he beat me to the punch. Nothing to see here, no reason to call for mediation. Any editor can remove a PROD tag even without making the slightest change but if they do not address the problem then the article is likely to be tagged for deletion by another method. So Anutza was in their rights to remove it but their comment is totally unacceptable and it is a personal attack "Are you a fucking idiot? She is 2-time Swedish champion and was the 12th best scorer in Champions League with 67 goals)"; if you ever make a comment like that I will ask for a block of your account. Domdeparis (talk) 13:30, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
If is not an AfD tag but a PROD tag so yes you did something wrong. Domdeparis (talk) 13:31, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
Hi. Sorry I got pissed off but the nomination was useless even before the article improvement. She is a 2-time champion of Sweden, enough to get notability. Furthoremore, she has been great in the last edition of Champions League (top 5 young players, 12th scorer overall, player-of-a-round in the main round). Anutza 1 (talk) 13:32, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
Regarding my behaviour, I do apologise. Although you are completely unprofessional. You only know to destroy. I am not getting banned, first I am warned. Anutza 1 (talk) 13:34, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
I am the one who posted the warning. You are a new editor so there are (maybe) mitigating circumstances but please read this Wikipedia:Civility and please comply. This is a community where we all work together...or at least that's the idea. Domdeparis (talk) 13:36, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
I've never seen someone remove a PROD before fixing the mistake first, so that's my bad. It doesn't show they read the PROD in my mind until there is clear evidence the article was improved. If that's not the way this works, then lesson learned for me. Regardless, your actions are a little ridiculous too. No need to get on your high horse and use a public space for mediation, that's not what a article talk page is for. This could have been an easy post on either of our personal talk pages instead of a public talk page :) Semmendinger (talk) 13:36, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
So I am sorry I called him an idiot, I apologise. Semmendinger, I did added one source and then I removed the PROD. Now it's up to you all. I improved it a lot. But even at the first sight, it passed as notable (2-time Swedish champion and played in Champions League). Domdeparis, no hard feelings, ok? Anutza 1 (talk) 13:39, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
I have nothing against you or you page. Like I said I was just against removing any template within a minute of it being put up as it was obviously ignored. PROD or not, I put it back because it was obviously not being read. You're fine in my book mate. In any case this needs to stop because using the talk page as a forum is against the rules. Let's move this to our own talk pages if anyone wants it to continue. Semmendinger (talk) 13:41, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
The idea was to avoid this escalating and to discuss the problem with the article, i had no intention of mediating between you two, you were the one who took it personally and started the discussion here and just so you know all pages are public even your talk pages they are available for all to see...So to get back to the business in hand as it stands the article does not provide sufficient information to prove notability as per WP:GNG. There are no guidelines for notability of handballers so her statistics are not enough to guarantee notability, she is not an international player so sources need to be provided to prove notability in my opinion. Domdeparis (talk) 13:48, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
Yes all pages are public, I'm referring to Wikipedia:Talk_page#How_to_use_article_talk_pages Semmendinger (talk) 14:00, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
Which is exactly what I wanted to do...I'm not the one who got off topic ...and is staying off topic so let's leave it there please.Domdeparis (talk) 14:04, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
