Phrasing

edit

"Enrile knew that he had to break away from the increasingly unpopular Marcos dictatorship."

Although a very plausible explanation for his actions, not something fit for an encyclopedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Notneps (talkcontribs) 19:28, 28 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Stop adding Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, or American descent

to Filipino celebtrities or politicians unless you have a source to back it up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.125.216.237 (talk) 04:13, 5 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Name

edit

If his parents were not married, surely his surname is Furagganan not Enrile? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.184.41.226 (talk) 07:44, 7 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

birth date

edit

The Feb 14 1924 date has been in the article for years, but has been subject to significant vandalism and appears to be unsourced. Can anyone provide a reliable source for this date (or whatever date)?

Never mind, his Senate bio http://www.senate.gov.ph/senators/sen_bio/enrile_resume.asp confirms it. Meters (talk) 19:23, 26 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Immortal

edit

JPE being immortal became a meme about 3 years ago, because of that, this article has been subjected to repeated vandalisms including changing "The Honorable" to "The Immortal" and also changing his birthdate to 1,000 B.C (something like that) Damskiee29 (talk) 11:10, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

It's very annoying. The page needs to be locked. --Jkaharper (talk) 11:17, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
