Whilst I appreciate "Wikipedia is not a crystal ball", the person will meet the projects guideline for notability if he plays in Super rugby, which starts next month and where he has been named in a squad. This proposed deletion seems hasty at best.Skeene88 (talk) 18:30, 1 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hi @Skeene88:, as you said, he will meet WP:NRU if he plays in Super Rugby. However, he hasn't yet, so at the moment, he doesn't meet any of the criteria. Also, he has only been named in the team's training squad, which joined up with the main team for pre-season, and not in the main squad, so it's by no means a guarantee he will meet the criterion any time soon.
