Subject of article satisfies WP:NPOL edit

Claudio served as congressman (MP) from 1992 to 1998, fully satisfying one of the WP:SNGs. Howard the Duck (talk) 01:51, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Tagging HouseBlaster who unilaterally deleted this article from the mainspace if s/he has something to say. Howard the Duck (talk) 01:53, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Howard the Duck: Hello! I draftified this article simply because it has no inline citations as a part of new page patrol. Per the instructions, articles should be draftified when:
  1. the topic has some potential merit: as you rightly said above, this person is notable and thus the topic definitely has merit.
  2. the article does not meet the required standard: there are exactly zero citations in the article.
  3. there is no evidence of active improvement: the article had been tagged earlier that day, but there was no evidence that someone was actively working on the article (this has been understood to mean "you are not going to edit conflict with someone", not "someone plans to work on it" as working on articles is the entire reason the Draftspace exists).
  4. the article does not contain copyright violations: copyvio-free!
You are welcome to (per WP:DRAFTOBJECT) move this article back into the mainspace, but that is why I draftified this article. HouseBlastertalk 02:15, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm new to drafts, and I'm not entirely sure how long the article was tagged, but certainly move reverting articles is a bad idea and I don't think I should be encouraged to do that. Either the article is notable or not; if it isn't, send this to AFD so we'll see, not... move revert each other.
Seriously who thought this was a good idea? Howard the Duck (talk) 02:23, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Article was tagged for 2 days. I personally give 2 weeks for citation needed tags for someone to find a reference before removing a single sentence. This was deleted in 2 days. Move this back. Howard the Duck (talk) 02:26, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Howard the Duck: I will move it back after I finish this comment, but there is no danger to move-warring. Per DRAFTOBJECT, "a page may only be moved unilaterally to the draftspace a single time. If anyone objects, it is no longer an uncontroversial move, and the page needs to be handled through other processes, such as deletion, stubbing, tagging, etc." I like to compare it to PROD: it is a one-shot deal (unless consensus is obtained at AfD). I didn't realize that you had gone ahead and added citations. Thank you for doing so, and I have marked the page as patrolled. If you have more questions about the draftspace, I would be happy to help you. In any case, happy editing! HouseBlastertalk 02:36, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Suggesting to move war isn't a good idea. I've seen AFDs where people move warred each other, it's not pretty sight.
This article has existed for more than 6 montha. Again, I dunno how drafts work, but if an article has been on mainspace for that long, the only way it'll end up on draftspace is if an AFD said it should.
Now this caused more problems than it should. Liz delinked this article from everywhere, so now, I'd have to undo her perfectly valid edits because of this. It's not easy to do on a phone and is not a productive usage of time. Howard the Duck (talk) 02:50, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
