Thanks for stopping by to edit. By the way, I think this article is well written.

I didn't realize there was an external link to the publisher's web site. I agree with its removal.

Regarding the question - "Does the history of these companies belong in this article or in the articles on the companies?". This is certainly a valid question. When I wrote that "blurb" (and it took awhile), it appeared to be a notable paragraph illustrating the changes that this journal went through. I had no intention of featuring publishers in an article about a scientific journal. So, what do you suggest?----Steve Quinn (talk) 16:28, 18 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • Yep, looks good Steve! I think that it would be enough to say something like "published by Chapman and hall (now a subsidiary of Springer)" and wikilink those two publishing houses. Otherwise it just copies what is in those articles (and think of all the other C&H journals -not to mention Kluwer journals- where we would have to add that info... Another interesting question is about what country to list in the infobox. For Springer I always only enter Germany: they may have offices elsewhere, but their origin is German. Of course, given their mergers and given how international the scientific publishing business is, it is increasingly difficult to add a country to a publisher. Personally, I think that country should be taken out of the box completely. What do you think? :-) --Crusio (talk) 18:57, 18 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
