Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because...

1. Prof Heller is one of the leading zoologists in Israel in the last 50 years. He is worldwide known in his field of research.

2. His publications are very much cited in the scientific community

3. His additional academic posts were in a wide range of activities

4. The suggested entry in English Wikipedia is very much similar to the entry in Hebrew Wikipedia regarding Prof Heller.

5. In the external Links in the entry one may find verification to all the points above .

6. Deletion of the entry about Prof Heller would be a mistake. Wikipedia should be honored by having an entry of a scientist who contributed so much to the world knowledge in his field of research. Tzamatz (talk) 21:38, 9 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

A horrible article about what seems to be a notable subject

edit

This article is terribly written and the formatting is even worse. It appears to violate a number of editing policies and guidelines and reading it makes my eyes hurt. Regardless, I ran a Google Books search on the subject and it seems that he can slide by Wikipedia:Notability (academics). If someone strongly feels that he doesn't after looking up the sources, then this should be brought to AfD; it isn't prod material. MezzoMezzo (talk) 04:16, 12 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
