Previous version of this page contained assertion that the execution of Joseph Lewis Clark failed in its first attempt. This is incorrect or is at least a matter of debate. Clark's veins collapsed as the chemicals were being injected, prompting a pause in the process. "Failed" implies that the State of Ohio did something wrong. It did not.
