Article issues including notability

edit

Committing the murder of three people, Betty Swank, who was raped and then killed, Thomas Scofield Taylor, and Carlotta Hartness, who was raped and then killed, was a gruesome crime spree. It does not have the notability for encyclopedic inclusion and the subject is not notable. The unsupported content of having sex with a corpse is horrendous but apparently did not draw national attention. Being the "first person to be put to death by the State of South Carolina", since the death penalty was reinstated, is also nothing to be so notable as to catapult it to article status over the victims. There should not be a drive to "list" murderers on Wikipedia just to list them, that were "legally" executed, after being convicted of multiple heinous crimes.
