inflation and currency conversion edit

Just wondering what the current price in USD/Euro would be for 155 marks in the range he sold them? Germany was going through hyperinflation at this point, so I'm curious what the rough equivalent would be in today's money for the standard and hand-crafted sets.

I think the article ought to discuss Josef Hartwig's his skill as a sculptor (or lack thereof), and include reference to his sculpture beside the chess set. I haven't been able to find any examples. John Link (talk) 01:33, 5 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
