Remember edit
Does anyone else have a different tracklisting to the one shown on here apart from me? Istabo 21:33, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- yes, my track listings are slightly different than what is listed here. Mine is What is love, I promised myself, relight my fire, big in japan, running in the family, enola gay, please dont go, torture, together forever and Don't leave me this way. However, the track listings as they appear in the article are the same as how they are presented on the official fan site, so I went with that order when I wrote the article. BLP violations edit
Please do not re-add the material that speculates about this person's sexual orientation. That is a violation of WP:BLP. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 04:08, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, mentioning that there has been speculation, with a reliable source to that effect, is not a violation of BLP. See specifically the example for WP:BLP#Well known public figures. -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 04:45, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
Re-visiting edit
I'm just finding time to revisit this page after it was decided at the BLP noticeboard that two of the sources were less than reliable for BLP purposes. In particular, there were followup questions about what could be said, based on reliable sources. The Telecinco/Ana Rosa site is reliable, IMO.
- (in Spanish) José Galisteo presenta nuevo disco con un polémico videoclip. El Programa de Ana Rosa, Telecinco. Retrieved on 2007-11-03.
I do think if references to his sexuality are re-added, there also needs to be more balance about the other aspects of his career. With respect to his sexuality, the Ana Rosa show clip says (very roughly, pls fine tune with Raystorm if used, and perhaps ask Jossi to review as well):
- "Su última actuación tenía lugar durante las fiestas del orgullo gay celebradas recientemente en Madrid, donde cosechó un gran éxito entre los asistentes. "
- His last performance took place during the gay pride festivals recently celebrated in Madrid, where he enjoyed great success among the attendees.
- Some collaborators on the Summer Progam (??) related the relative success of the singer with the ambiguity he maintains about his sexual orientation. Nevertheless, the artist has avoided any commentary with respect to his sexuality: 'for the moment I don't want to talk about my intimacy'.
- Por otra parte, José afirma que ha tenido bastante poder de decisión a la hora de preparar el disco. En contreto, seis de las diez canciones finales han sido elegidas por él, así como la foto de la portada.
- On the other hand, José affirms that he has had ample decision-mking input in the preparation of his album ... siz of the ten final songs were chosen by him, including the cover photo.
- Lo que José no niega es que su espectacular físico le ha podido ayudar algo para lograr el éxito.
- What José doesn't deny is that his spectacular physical appearance has helped him achieve success.
