BLP and other problems edit

Dear administrators, I'm looking for advice on how to proceed with this particular page. This page is mostly a direct translation from the original wikipedia.pt page (link: https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jos%C3%A9_Ant%C3%B3nio_Falc%C3%A3o ) which I've been editing (along with a couple other "sister" pages related to the BLP in question.
Both the PT and EN versions of these biographies have the following problems:
- Are mostly written to glorify the subject in question.
- Very poorly sourced
- Excessively detailed for the general idea of a Wikipedia article
- Are unnecessarily critical of any point of views that opposed or have opposed the work of the subject in question.
- Are out of date in some parts as the main work mentioned in the article "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Department_of_Historical_and_Artistic_Heritage_of_the_Diocese_of_Beja" has been extinct.
I'm currently working on the Portuguese version and also in the process of requesting similar help from the PT administrators. My questions are:
- What to do with the unsourced references ? Maintain the notices? Remove the text?
- Should the tone here be changed to something more simple/abridged?
- Should the article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Department_of_Historical_and_Artistic_Heritage_of_the_Diocese_of_Beja be merged with this one ?

- Hi Tggm, I'll create a section about these concerns at the biographies of living persons noticeboard. merger discussion section edit
Merged contents from Department of Historical and Artistic Heritage of the Diocese of Beja as the source text was outdated and in need of revisions. The bibliography section was identical to the one on this section.
