An anonymous editor is repeatedly adding irrelevant information about religion and ancestry. Please note that

The payer's ancestry only matter IN THIS CONTEXT if the player has elected to be selected for the the national football team of his ancestral country - in this case, the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland football teams.
Religion has no place unless the player refuses on religious grounds to play on a Saturday or a Sunday.
In case anyone starts, the colour of his skin doesn't matter either
All of above can only be over-riden if a reference can be produced where it can be shown that the player wishes to be associated with these characteristics at every turn.
