ADEPT edit

What about ADEPT? Is is the same thing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.116.34.137 (talkcontribs) 01:15, November 23, 2006

There are, I believe, three proposals that have been accepted (SNAP, ADEPT, and... JEDI?), of which one will finally be selected and launched. --Falcorian (talk) 18:39, 23 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
Three proposals were funded by NASA for R&D: SNAP, DESTINY, and ADEPT.

merge edit

SNAP, Destiny, and ADEPT are no more; these proposals have all been superseded by JDEM-Omega/WFIRST. JDEM and WFIRST could be merged as well. -Ktotam (talk) 13:26, 30 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

WFIRST has a science portfolio that includes dark energy (the sole driver for JDEM) as just under half of its mission lifetime; it features large mandatory allocations for exoplanet and general astrophysics science as well. WFIRST has subsumed JDEM but isn't just a different implementation of JDEM. Dbenford (talk) 16:25, 23 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
