Saw IV edit

If it was "confirmed" that he's going to be in Saw IV, why is there no citation? There is no mention of this anywhere to back up this claim. I'm removing this. The section is called "credits" not "wild rumors"

If you are going to put it back in you better have a source.

I thought the same thing. If this was 100% true, then all the rumor/movie sites would have some sort of cite. - The Alpha Couple 22:18, 31 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Is that knoxville in the caffreys advert from a few years ago?

Terminology edit

Born? Do you mean founded? My, most of the articles on wiki are either plagarized or written by dolts. Save your storage and just have everyones 'user page' under pseudointellectual. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.67.228.134 (talk) 18:51, August 23, 2007 (UTC)

Cleanup edit

Can whoever is reverting my edits explain why before doing so again? Among what I did was remove birthplace/name from opening (see WP:MOSBIO for the only things needed to be included there), fixed up the section outlining the films he's been in, which was listed in a bullet-point, trivia style (WP:TRIVIA), use the common reference style ("reflist"), alphabetize the categories, and introduce the paragraph heading style that seems to be used everywhere (i.e. FAs like Lindsay Lohan or Diane Keaton). All Hallow's Wraith 03:24, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

No, you did not use the paragraph naming convention used everywhere. Those articles you cited do not have a subheading named "biography" (the whole damn thing is a biography), real names are almost always used in the lead sentence, the filmography was not trivia, it was a list format which is perfectly fine to use, there is no edict saying that {{reflist}} is better than <references /> (which can give you more control over how the references look) and there is no reason to alphabetize the categories. In short, none of your changes seemed to have improved the article, so I reverted them rather than spend the time picking out the the most glaring mistakes to keep the other unneeded changes. I wouldn't say the whole thing is a biography - the references and external links aren't. All Hallow's Wraith 03:52, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Now you're just being silly. OcatecirT 03:54, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hey, not quite sure how this works, but PJ didn't graduate from South-Doyle, he graduated from South-Young High School in South Knoxville. South-Doyle HS did not exist prior to fall of 1991 when South-Young and Doyle were merged. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.13.110.211 (talk) 12:17, 29 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Penis incident edit

I don't know if this should be added, Knoxville had an incident while doing a stunt that did something to him involving his penis. Someone should look this up and add it. I'm to lazy to do it! Yourname (talk) 23:59, 4 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Um, that covers a wide range of possibilities. No pun intended.

Bad picture edit

With all the footage of Knoxville, can we find one that doesn't include him having demon-looking eyes? Thanks and good night. Lots42 (talk) 12:40, 17 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Weezer edit

{{editsemiprotected}} In the early 90's Knoxville lived with the members of The rock group Weezer at the address 2226 Amherst Avenue,Los Angeles, California. At the time, none of them were famous. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Noname9081 (talkcontribs) 08:06, 6 January 2010

Not done: Please give source. Ask again once souce have been given. --Stroppolotalk 18:47, 6 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

The true story is this; Rivers Cuomo and Matt Sharp lived in the 2226 Amherst Ave. house that was famous for "In the Garage" and the "Kitchen Tapes" from Weezer's debut album. Karl Koch (Roommate, friend, roadie, staff member, band member, etc...) and two other friends moved into The Fuller-Martel Plaza apartment complex on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, next door to the apartment that housed their friends in Wax (as well as future jackass members PJ Clapp (Johnny Knoxville), Handsome Jack, and Loomis). The early members of Weezer were great friends with the future Jackass starts and band members of Wax. There are many sources of this information that are not easily found online. This subject was often talked about in 2010 when Weezer's single "Memories" was featured in the Jackass 3D movie. Good luck finding it, the source is out there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.72.239.73 (talk) 17:32, 8 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Edition may be needed edit

I have read this sentence:

"On February 1, 2007, Knoxville and his wife of twelve years, Melanie, filed for legal separation."

I am not english but, does not this phrase seem to say that his wife is indeed twelve years old?

Shouldn't that be changed to

"On February 1, 2007, Knoxville and his wife for twelve years, Melanie, filed for legal separation."

Excuse me if I am wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.128.240.68 (talk) 07:33, 5 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Old Photo edit

I think the main page photo is too old and too bad, there're lots of good photos of Johnny Knoxville in Google Images. I don't have a Wikipedia account so i can't do anything. Please, try to change it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.109.84.255 (talk) 18:12, 10 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Controversies edit

I deleted the "Controversies" section just because I don't think they qualify as "controversies". If those are "controversies" some people should have 50 pages of them... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yamaz (talkcontribs) 18:48, 13 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Better photo needed edit

Don't we have newer and better photos of him? The current photo is from a weird angle and his face is in the midst of an unnatural strain. Snooganssnoogans (talk) 19:49, 11 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
