Relationship to the Bassets edit

I have rendered more vague the relationship to the Bassets. He is held to be brother of archbishop Fulk de Sandford alias Basset (although the chronology seems wrong, he seems a generation younger), in turn called nephew to Philip Basset, and thus speculated by EB to be an illegitimate son of one of Philip's brothers. Given that Philip had a sister married to nobleman John de Sandford a much more likely alternative presents itself. While as original research this is out of place in the article, at least we can tone down the unwarranted speculation of EB. Agricolae (talk) 16:28, 17 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
