E.g., the midwifery "controversy." No degree details. Fundamental question: why included in Wikipedia?

Controversy

edit

A recent editor seems insistent on removing this section. Can we discuss to gain consensus on whether it is appropriate to keep or be removed?  Eyercontact  16:50, 18 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

The text in question is: "In May 2018, it was reported that Loudon had used inflammatory and derogatory language against women, Muslims and Democrats. He repeated conspiracy theories about President Obama's birth and religion, suggesting that Obama was a Kenyan-born Muslim.[1]"  Eyercontact  21:51, 18 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Certainly seems relevant to me. BubbaJoe123456 (talk) 21:58, 18 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
@BubbaJoe123456: The editor in question has removed this content again, without engaging in conversation here. I am new enough to be unsure what appropriate next steps should be. Thoughts?  Eyercontact  18:57, 19 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
