“Pilgrim” edit
In the film section for 1950’s, this article says that The Searchers is the first film in which John Wayne says “Pilgrim”. The source linked in the article (https://books.google.com/books?id=KftACgAAQBAJ&pg=PT140) isn’t visible to me, and I have found other online sources (e.g. https://www.outsider.com/news/john-wayne-what-last-film-he-used-famous-phrase-pilgrim/) indicating he only says it on film in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence and McLintock!. I also just watched The Searchers on DVD, and I don’t think he says “Pilgrim” in it. 2601:152:4B00:8F80:5DFA:E873:3757:FFCF (talk) 02:57, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
