Louisville edit

I have removed the following edit of November 2, 2009:

However Wilder's surrender is to be viewed, his defense of louisville was the first instance where the new spencer repeating rifles were used. In "Abe and His Secret Weapon," an article in the American History journal, Wilder is Cited as holding off an attacking force of more than five times his own, and inflicting triple the casualties that they recieved.

I do not have this journal article to verify, but the first use of Spencers was at the Battle of Hoover's Gap in the 1863 Tullahoma Campaign. Wilder surrendered at the Battle of Munfordville and did not participate in any battle at Louisville. Hal Jespersen (talk) 15:16, 2 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Battle at Alexander Bridge edit

played a crucial role at Alexander's Bridge

He played the only role at the bridge, but the battle was hardly crucial. Minty, down the road at Reed's Bridge might be considered crucial, but even that is debatable.
