Requested move 3 October 2024
edit
It has been proposed in this section that John Purser be renamed and moved to John Purser (musician). A bot will list this discussion on the requested moves current discussions subpage within an hour of this tag being placed. The discussion may be closed 7 days after being opened, if consensus has been reached (see the closing instructions). Please base arguments on article title policy, and keep discussion succinct and civil. Please use {{subst:requested move}} . Do not use {{requested move/dated}} directly. |
John Purser → John Purser (musician) – Considering historical significance and page views versus John Purser (mathematician), there just is not a primary topic. However, moving this page to create a disambiguation page would contain just this topic and the mathematician (WP:TWODABS) with possibly John Griffith (engineer) as a "See also" ... so I'm not going to be WP:BOLD here, and felt this needs discussion. - Support, but prefer John Purser (composer), which appears to be his primary occupation. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:35, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
- Support per nom, create DAB at base name.--Ortizesp (talk) 16:22, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
