Just a point of information really - although this article is rated a "stub" I'm not sure anyone really knows much more about John Plummer. I worked on his life as part of my post-graduate research and I don't recall seeing much more about his life than is here. You could say more about the works, of course, but I'm not sure if that's what the page should do. What do others think?Helen-Eva 09:02, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Authority control: BNF number needs to be corrected! edit

The correct BNF ID is cb13898562p, the correct ISNI ID is ISNI 0000 0000 3310 3939.

The ID in the article leads to a blind inventor, a factory worker born somewhere 18.. and passed somewhere 19.. . The BNF data link leads to a 404 page. As I (not logged in, and probably not having the permission altogether as a normal user) couldn't correct this, would someone entitled to edit the Authority control data correct it please. There is also a note in thesource code of the external links section about a false ISNI ID, which indeed is also referring to the factory worker. 188.98.122.52 (talk) 19:38, 13 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

I've attempted to correct the ISNI ID - I seemed to be allowed to edit it without needing to create an account or log in or anything. The BNF ID now appears correct, so I guess someone else must have already updated it. --92.41.112.148 (talk) 12:56, 16 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
