Possible errors? edit

This article currently states:

  • Date of death: November 23, 1984 (in the info-box and in the lead);
  • Age at death: Aged 45–46 (in the info-box).

This is his biography at the official website for the Wisconsin Court System:

  • "John P. Foley was presiding judge of District III when, on November 21, 1984, he died unexpectedly at the age of forty-six." (Source: [1])

If someone with more knowledge can please edit the article and correct any errors. Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 00:07, 1 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Another source says: "Judge John P. Foley of Wausau, presiding judge of the state’s 3rd District Court of Appeals, was found dead in his apartment Friday, Marathon County Coroner Davis Joswick said. Foley, age 46, was found by an apartment manager after he failed to answer his telephone, police said." This was published in the Madison Wisconsin State Journal on November 24, 1984 (which was a Saturday). The previous day, Friday, would have been November 23, 1984. (Source: [2]). Note that this source says he was "found dead" on that date ... not necessarily that he "died" on that date. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 00:41, 1 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
