Why Virginia?

I see no mention of Virginia in the article. Why is the article of interest to Wikiproject Virginia? If that is where the McCutcheons live, shouldn't it be mentioned in the article? Contrariwise, if his home state is considered a privacy issue, should Virginia be mentioned at all? Can't have it both ways. When I knew John, he lived and worked in and near East Tennessee, but that was before he returned to school and finished his degree.
