Issue of "importance" edit

LeConte may well have been the "most important American entomologist of the 19th century", but it is not wikipedia's job to decide that. The link cited for that: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Lawrence_LeConte#cite_note-birdname-1 goes to a page that doesn't exist. Dead link edit

The link that says LeConte fought in the California Volunteers doesn't go anywhere. Also, the California Volunteers page looks like a list of different units, so this article should probably link to the one he fought in. Tobirder (talk) 00:53, 21 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
