Altona never was a part of Denmark

edit

I've changed the wording in the section "Early Life" about Weber's birthplace in the town of Altona, indicating that it was part of Germany (specifically, the Holy Roman Empire of German Nation) instead of Denmark. It is a widely-held misconception that the Duchy of Holstein, which Altona was a part of, was Danish. While the duchy of Schleswig was Danish at that time, the Duchy of Hostein never was; both had, though, been ruled in personal union by the Kings of Denmark of the House of Sonderburg-Augustenburg / Oldenburg since the middle ages; in the case of Holstein, the Danish King was, in his capacity as Duke of Holstein, subject to the Emperor in Vienna. -- HH 95.90.250.23 (talk) 22:36, 13 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
