I made an edit as I was passing. The only source I checked conflicts with the chronology of events here, married in England seems more likely, and when he bought land in Albany is contradicted by the news item assembled from family recollections. cygnis insignis 12:41, 6 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
The chronology from the Australian Dictionary of Biography has some inconsistencies with the 100 years article. I think I would have gone with the ADB article when in doubt and attempted to check against the other sources where possible. Regards Hughesdarren (talk) 13:21, 6 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, sorry I'm slack, but I needed to move things around to squeeze in the bit on Ethel, who had some interesting friends (so did her family, 'confidence tricksters and government officials' interesting). Hope I didn't muck this up, handy to find the content here to find out who is who. cygnis insignis 16:31, 6 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
All good, nice work with Ethel, quite an interesting family! Hughesdarren (talk) 22:05, 6 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
