I'd be interested to know how exactly he was related to the eighteenth century character Charles Hanbury Williams (and when they acquired a hyphen in the family name). The book I've just used says that he was a direct descendant, which is presumably inaccurate, as CHW had only daughters, and the estate passed to his brother.
