Give 'em some time to evolve. Its lack of sources doesn't mean it's a lie, just that the first guy left them out out of laziness. Yes, that's a problem, but the article seems to have had enough edits per unit time that there's good reason to believe someone will correct his on its own. I'm lazy, too, but have known John Hall's work. He's notable the way any professor can be notable--they don't ever get famous for their work, barring Tom Lehrer and a few Nobel laureates. --Mrcolj 22:19, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

For a "notable" professor, the bibliography is a bit scant. Perhaps there are two decades' worth of articles and books that have yet to be posted. Is this New Testament translation project significant enough to really add scholarly weight? Someone with some knowledge of this project should elaborate. Otherwise, a few articles twenty years ago and organizing a museum exhibit seems like a rather low bar.Ibnalhamar (talk) 07:54, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Early Christian Studies

Hall is the author of several important works on early V+Christianity, particularly in terms of providing insight into the LDS (Mormon) perspective. He has written Charting the New Testament, Masada and the World of the New Testament and parts of Apostles and Bishops in early Christianity which is composed of lecture notes of his teacher Hiugh Nibley which Hall pieced together, edited and footnoted for publication in a book format. His most informative work is Ne wTestament Witnesses of Christ: Peter, John, James, and Paul. A discussion of the "pillars of early Christianity" both in a biographic fashion and also in resprect to their doctrinal teachings about Christ. I see no reason to have a completely separate article consisting of a one line description of one of John Hall’s book. That line can be added into this page easily.--ARTEST4ECHO (^talk/_contribs) 20:19, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
