Wilmot family were important not only in Osmaston but in South Derbyshire. Victuallers 08:13, 5 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Propose deletion of Grand Union flag

edit

Is the Grand Union flag illustration really necessary to the article? Reference is made to the American War of Independence; switch goes on in Flagfreak's brain; Grand Union flag is added to article on famous English judge. Results: Flagfreak is satisfied, readers of Wikipedia learn no more about Wilmot than they knew already, and computer memory space is wasted for, basically, nothing. Propose deletion ASAP. It isn't necessary, and its only purpose is to draw the US reader's eye to the part of the article of American interest. It's a free image, and the effect on memory space is the length of the name and html embedded in the page, but if you find it freaky then do take it out. Xn4 15:03, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
