- There is lots more information to mine in the Mapping the Practice article. I've got to return to real life. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 15:28, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
If you come across this quote edit
"His numerous commissions include: most of the statuary for the Cathedral of St John the Divine, New York" do not believe it, and more important, don't use it. Carptrash (talk) 19:00, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- FYI it came from "John Angel". Mapping the Practice and Profession of Sculpture in Britain and Ireland 1851-1951. University of Glasgow History of Art and HATII, online database. 2011. Retrieved September 6, 2012. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 19:32, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
Yes, well (opinion) that's some Brit's version of sculpture in America. All done by British, you know. Carptrash (talk) 01:45, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
Speaking of Soap carving edit
Lester Gaba. Wrote a book on the subject. How cool is that. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 20:53, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
DYK Nomination edit
I have nominated this. I intend to do a treble hook WP:DYK, but have not yet formulated a suitable hook line. I will also be nominating anon the Exeter War Memorial and the Bridgwater War Memorial, both of which he designed. Both are new articles. I would like to treat this as a treble hook. Any suggestions as to wording for an appropriate hook would be appreciated. To review off comment. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 10:49, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
