Article name edit

I removed the ordinal from the article title since he does not seem to have been known as "John I".

anyhoo edit

is this the same king john who translated 'the divine comedy' and has a statue in the centre of dresden?--81.101.3.9 19:43, 9 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ancestry edit

I am reverting the ancestry to better reflect the names of the articles and to bypass redirects. The only standard for consistency in royalty article names is WP:NC(NT), which names kings, emperors and their consorts as Name of Place, other royals as Title Name of Place and lesser sovereigns and holders of substantive titles as Name, Title of Place. Support - I was going to boldly move this as I already have done with Albert, King of Saxony. John of Saxony (disambiguation) should also be moved to John of Saxony. estar8806 (talk) 20:56, 6 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
