- While the player did indeed play for Preston North End, and was a member of the Invincibles who won the inaugural Football League, he also played for several notable clubs in Scotland such as Partick, not to be confused with Partick Thistle, who he also played for and Glasgow Rnagers: http://thethistlearchive.wikidot.com/jock-inglis
