Nationality edit

How he would be of Polish Nationality, if there was no the Polish state at his time? Probably, he was subject to the Russian Empire? His dad was of the German Saxon origin and his mother Ewa Szaliuta was of the Eastern Belarusian nobility. 87.252.227.63 (talk) 00:00, 6 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

False friends. In Polish narodowość, literally "nationality", usually refers to ethnicity. And obywatelstwo, literally "citizenship", has no synonyms derived from naród ("nation"). 89.64.69.36 (talk) 20:25, 17 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
