Vandalism: The section regarding Quinn's Laws was vandalized, and I restored them, and have a full copy of this article, so further vandalism based on petty partisan hatred of the show will do no good. I will just fix it. June 9, 2007. By Thunder Pig. (Google it).

re: NOTE: someone should hand you a copy of the Consitution so that you can make the decision for yourself what is and what isn't constitutional. Doubtful you know the difference based on the above.

Jim Quinn is definitely an interesting and well spoken radio commentary. Jim Quinn is a nutcase conspiracy theorist. When I took the photo that is this article's sole photo of him, I was under his indoctrination via his radio show every morning for two decades. I lived by his mantras of "Liberalism always generates the exact opposite of its stated intent" and "being a liberal is standing on your head and telling the rest of the world it's upside down" -- mantras that I realize now describe himself. He regularly makes up ulterior motives out of whole cloth for those he does not like - like how he accuses gay people of trying to "break down core family values", when really we just want to live our lives. He and Rose preach hate and unverified conspiracies about everything in a radio show format that is quite catchy, well formed, and hard not to get drawn into. I've never heard a political talk show use a format quite like his since, which is sad as I quite like the format and hate him and his message now. When you see the photo of him on this page or on Google, know that the photographer who took it has grown to despise the subject, and is still trying to deprogram himself. (NB: I have no intention of changing the photo or its copyright in anyway; one must always remember where he came from to learn from it.) ----Tustin2121 _talk 19:22, 14 August 2020 (UTC)

I'll add also, since I was going through the history of this page: edits adding references to that article cited in Pittsburgh synagogue shooting are probably not notable enough for this page. Quinn was many horrible things, but was not anti-semitic; he would often say that the country is "founded on Judeo-Christian values", and Judaism is half of that. His conspiracies were usually in the range of things like the Clinton Body Count, net neutrality being the hidden return of the fairness doctrine, and George Soros funding liberal movements (rather than focusing on his religion). He was also very anti-Muslim, often using a sound clip of a "palestinian kid suicide bomber" to do things like kick callers off the air. Quinn was at most a gateway to Robert Gregory Bowers's radicalization against Jewish people. ----Tustin2121 _talk 20:34, 14 August 2020 (UTC)

Feel free to add any additional material, but your attempt at blanking the page is not acceptable and will continue to be reverted. If you look, you'll see that a previous editor added some information while largely blanking what was there. Most of the information he added has been kept, but the blanking was changed. The info stating "Beginning in December 2005, he has added two additional segments to the show: the 'insane item of the day' and the 'stuck on stupid award'." is wrong. The "insane item of the day" has been around since at least 2001. It is not an everyday thing. The sentence detailing his interest in law enforcement not coming to fruition demonstrated gross bias. How many other "conservative talk peers" have shown unrealized interest in joining law enforcement? Who are they? And the clever rhyme describing him as a "hostile talker and docile walker" was a clever play on words that serves no purpose than to paint him with somebody else's brushstroke. It was somebody's clever way to put their mark on an article without adding anything of encylopedic value.

Yes, you should recommend it here, but if you don't sign your comments, especially when nominating content for deletion, you give the appearance that you are seconding your own nomination (see unsigned "I agree" below). New Quick Start Guide

When the new station came on, Quinn presented an updated Quick Start Guide, which I transcribed onto this page. I would just like to say that these are supposed to be quotes, so please don't change or adulterate them if you think they are offensive, rough, etc. KongminRegent 22:52, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Proposal to move Q&R content to the Q&R article

There already is an article for the War Room with Quinn and Rose radio show, which is the more appropriate place for information related to the radio program (affiliates, theme music, etc...). The two articles are already duplicating the affiliate list.

Jim Quinn was notable prior to co-hosting his current show, and both articles would have enough content to justify the article. The history of Jim Quinn at KQV and other radio jobs is interesting background information, and would benefit from additional research and better sourcing. Improving that information would currently be disrupted by the reversion wars over the controversial content.StreamingRadioGuide (talk) 13:08, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Discussion of slavery

Why is the only quote from the show Quinn's discussion from slavery in November 2008. It hardly is a defining theme of the show or the only notable thing he has said over his career. I think someone has documented one instance that has otherwise gone unremarked upon for nearly 8 months. I suggest deleting. Npeters22 (talk) 09:54, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
