This article really needs to be better done.

It's my understanding that James was not born with any disability. His brother, Thomas, was born with the mental disability and died at 45? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.9.188.222 (talk) 03:02, 27 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Is this even necessary? edit

Jim also has a habit of quoting rock music all too often.

Is this even notable, and if so (somehow), can someone get this cited?

This article is crap. Any article about Jim Irsay should mention what a complete bastard he is and how he reneged on the deal his father made with Baltimore to return the Colts name, colours, and history to Baltimore when they acquired a new NFL franchise. His father was part of that reneging, of course.

He's scum, just like his worthless father. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.67.9.113 (talk) 17:59, 5 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Née vs, Né edit

I changed the reference of Isray's name change from "née" to "né," since the first is feminine and cannot refer to a man. Danwaggoner (talk) 06:02, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

On the Road reference edit

I removed the reference to On The Road being written in a 3 week period because the article for the book makes it clear that this was just urban legend. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.234.134.222 (talk) 01:40, 6 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Irsay name edit

In an interview about himself Irsay says his grandparents changed their name upon arriving from Hungary to Ellis Island from Israel to Irsay in order to americanize it. The strange thing is Irsai is a rather well known name in Hungary because a type of grape had been named after a wine merchant called Oliver Irsai. "Irsai Oliver" in Hungary is a native grape producing a light but very aromatic muscatel type white wine. Irsay in Hungary would just be an alternate spelling of Irsai.
