Updates Requested edit

Moved to relevant page from Wikipedia talk:Canadian Wikipedians' notice board per OTRS request--Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 21:58, 24 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

I do not want to edit this article. I want to bring additional information to the attention of any editors, please. This will be the urls of three objective sources which have more information than the current article.

1) the German wik1pedia article, which has among other things a list of works up to 2007, vetted by de.wikipedia, which could be added. The url for this is:

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Hiscott

2) the biography page on Jim (James) Hiscott on the website of the Canadian Music Centre is more up-to-date. It has a url of:

http://www.musiccentre.ca/node/37209/biography

3) the Canadian League of Composers website also has a biography of Jim Hiscott. This biography is also more up-to-date than the one currently on english wikipedia. It is at url:

http://composition.org/clc-lcc/content/index.php/en/about-us/clc-council/54

Thank you for your help. I have included urls, but I am happy to write text in more detail if that is better.

Yes, please provide specific text and if the content is reasonably of value I'd be happy to do any quick editing to make it up to snuff. I don't think it's worthwhile to have such a long list of works, but if we can summarize them in paragraph-style and talk about the type of work done, that would be preferred. Also, we would prefer to use independent sources like media articles to write his bio. A lot of websites like the ones provided mostly just repeat the self-written bios provided by the subject. I wouldn't mind using them however if they are mixed with other sources. CorporateM (Talk) 14:57, 30 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Reverting tag at the top edit

Hi @Cocherhon: I saw that you reverted my edit that removed the tag at the top of the page. I removed it because did not determine any information from the German page that could be added to the English page (especially because the German page is uncited). Is there any information that you think can be added to the English page from the German page? If so, can you propose it below? (Since you have a conflict of interest with this article). If nor, can we remove the tag? Thanks for your feedback. Z1720 (talk) 21:47, 19 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
