A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on December 3, 2007.

GA review

edit

For the time being, I do not feel that the article meets the GA criteria. The text is short, stiff and uncompelling, althought it is extremely well-sourced for such a short article. There are also some vital things missing, such as his birthdate, which, to me, means it isn't comprehensive enough. -- Scorpion0422 20:30, 26 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Years of NFL play

edit

"Detwiler received a $50,000 signing bonus and played in a couple preseason games in 1969, but his knee was still hurting. He had more surgery on the knee and missed the entire 1967 season.[3] He failed to make the team in 1968, and his professional football career was over. He is the most recent 1st round NFL Draft choice to have never played a game in the NFL." If he didn't make the team in 1968, does that mean he made it in 1969 and played only in the preseason? The order doesn't make sense to me, or the years are incorrect. I don't know the fact to correct it.Vettrock (talk) 10:00, 17 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
