If I have ever seen an article that reads like an advertisement, this is it. Isaac Crumm (talk) 17:44, 12 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sources edit

I don't think this article has good sources. I removed the ones from youtube that were not very credible. — Preceding unsigned comment added by WarrenOutsky (talkcontribs) 22:03, 18 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I removed the controversy section because I could not find anythign to back up the claims. WarrenOutsky (talk) 18:01, 27 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Since there has been some disagreement about the history and reputation of Jiffy Lube, I added some heartier information based on reliable sources I found online detailing the q-lube brand. The sources in the controversy section seem pretty sound so I kept this section as is. If there are disagreements with the sources of information that I have added, I am willing to discuss. I'm also working on adding an updated photo of the storefront since the stores have undergone major changes recently --Cgattung (talk) 14:20, 7 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Peacock flag added today edit

This article seems to be like an ad for Jiffy Lube now. The tone is all wrong and sources are bad. That is why I put the flag up if anyone is wondering. Thankss Warren (talk) 21:19, 8 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Conflicts? edit

It looks like Jiffy Lube company people may be editing the page via IP. Is this a big issue? Warren (talk) 00:40, 9 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Jiffy Truck Lube edit

In early 1987, as exchange student, I worked for a few months at a truck lube place called "Jiffy Truck Lube". This garage was located in the vicinity (or on the property?) of the truckstop in Jessup, MD. "Jiffy Truck Lube" was owned by Lee H. Schiller and he used the "Jiffy" name, most likely based on some kind of an agreement with Jiffy Lube. In 1989, during my next visit to the U.S., the lube place was operated by the truckstop and had a different name. Mr. Schiller was working at Jiffy Lube's HQ in Baltimore. I think this might be an interesting add on to the article, but I don't know / remember more details and can not prove it. Can somebody help?
