Pinero was not the first native-born PR governor. That was Juan Ponce de Leon II, who was born in San Juan. Grammarcop1 (talk) 21:44, 4 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Read the article very carefully and you will notice that the article clearly states that Piñero was the first native-born PR governor appointed by the "United States". Tony the Marine (talk) 21:49, 4 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Good article and interesting to see his life journey. Wikipedia does not accept Find-a-Grave as an RS, because it is user-generated, so I deleted it for his gravesite.Parkwells (talk) 19:46, 25 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
