I once read about Ramirez in a book so he is out there and was probably a huge deal in his time, since prior to this there would have been no way to know where hurricanes were at and boats and ships just traveled out into the ocean never knowing. If someone knows his years of birth and death, etc. that would be nice. I seem to recall he was from like Florida State, and i beleive he was a member of the Jesuit Seismological Society as mentioned in Macelwanes article here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_B._Macelwane Thank-You, again guys! i just do not post stuff on the front page!
