Major Update with References edit
I just made a major update to this page with new information and reorganization but mostly to provide references. There was previously only one, which was no longer valid. A couple of notes:
- I found a reliable source on the town of birth, but not the air force base. If someone finds a source on the air force base claim, it should be added.
- I found dozens of pages stating the same birthday, so it may be correct, but I found not one reliable source. If a reliable source is found, it should be added.
- I removed the names of her children from the main text (but left them on the side bar). I don't think that information rises to appropriate to an encyclopedic reference. Similarly, I left the names of the parents in, though I did not find a reference. Not sure if that information belongs.
- I'm not sure that the "Honors" are worthy of an encyclopedic reference. But they were already in there so I kept them.
- I could find no references to support the last assertion about being a board member of the organizations mentioned. I left it in with a citations needed request. But if this is not confirmed, it should be removed.

Do I?? No, and if I did I wouldn't recommend taking my advice as at all authoritative. But it would be helpful to know if Dr. Ashton recommends CBD gummies, and if so, why and for what. I've been seeing ads that quote her as recommending them to treat type 2 diabetes, but haven't found reliable support from neutral sources. --Haruo (talk) 18:13, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
