Talk:Jelly Belly/Archives/2013

Image innaccuracy

The image labeled as the entrance to the tour is in fact, the outside patio of the cafeteria of the visitors center. It is merely the route the line is directed if it becomes unusually long. This keeps the entrance to the center and gift shop clear when crowds become too large for the main entrance itself. I will be updating this image shortly.--Amadscientist (talk) 07:19, 23 February 2013 (UTC)

Non RS sources and large chunks of unsourced information

...have been removed. Sorry, but we do not use movie reviews from personal blogs and there seems to be an attempt to create some amount of Original Research about just exactly who invented the Jelly Belly. I have removed this information until such time as they can be sourced reliably.--Amadscientist (talk) 08:18, 23 February 2013 (UTC)

  • I appreciate the reasoning behind some of these edits, but I am concerned that these changes have now left the article non-neutral in the other direction. David Klein's version of the story has been covered in reliable sources such as this article in the Los Angeles Times . Also note that the Jewish Exponent source that was deleted (rather than marked as a deadlink per WP:LINKROT) is now found here. Until I (or someone else) have time to address this, I think it's fair to add a POV tag.--Arxiloxos (talk) 23:39, 27 February 2013 (UTC)

Products section

I just removed most of the information in the Products section of this article. To me, it all seemed promotional and gratuitous. Not to mention, the majority of it was uncited.Comatmebro ~Come at me~ 21:04, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
