Talk:Jekyll and Hyde (TV series)

Episode titles edit

The episodes all have titles here, but what is the source? ITV just gives them numbers. Googling for the titles find a lot of fan sites and bootleg downloads, but nothing authoritative. Only IMDB has these titles, and that is not reliable, anyone can add such info without verification. Problem is, once it's here then everyone just assumes it is reliable. So what may well have been made up by fans becomes canonised. So I will put these back to just numbers. If you can cite a WP:RS feel free to restore them. 202.81.248.99 (talk) 11:48, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

The episode titles are as they appear in the physical Radio Times (and presumably other listings magazines), and its website. They are presumably official, even if ITV isn't using them directly. Nick Cooper (talk) 20:17, 23 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
I do not recall if they were displayed on-screen but my TV guide is definitely using Harbinger for ep 1 and Mr. Hyde for ep 2. 174.92.135.167 (talk) 15:14, 12 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Cancellation edit

On Tuesday 5th January 2016, Charlie Higson announced via his Twitter feed that ITV had declined a second season of Jekyll and Hyde, effectively cancelling the show. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jock123 (talkcontribs) 14:18, 6 January 2016‎

Olalla edit

I notice this character mentioned twice but not actually cast with an actor, are they only mentioned? 174.92.135.167 (talk) 15:14, 12 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

"This article is incomplete" edit

Is this banner still applicable?

I, and other users have fleshed out the reasons for the cancellation. Episode names and plots are listed. Cast looks complete. What additional information is required?

Nearly a year has passed without comment or change, removing the template. Canonblack (talk) 13:29, 26 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Reception edit

From the complaints and cancellation it seems as if audiences didn't like the show but I was wondering how critics responded? There doesn't seem to be a Rotten Tomatoes page for this show.

I did find a review from the Guardian which seemed positive enough but may have only been based on the first episode. The Telegraph gave it 3/5, but the review was based on the opening episode.

I don't think these two reviews alone are enough but if people could find a few more reviews it might be worth adding a Reception section to the article. -- 109.76.134.87 (talk) 19:27, 13 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
