Christian X???

edit

Hersholt was knighted by King Christian X of Denmark in 1948 partly due to this endeavor. This can't be true, since Christian X died in 1947. Either the year is wrong or else the king must be Frederik IX. --Vistor (talk) 08:10, 23 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Deleted item.

edit

I have deleted the " Dr. Christian films and TV series " from the article, added 18 Oct. 2010. Unreferenced and should have been in the Talk section.

How Jean Pierre is pronounced? Like the French name Jean-Pierre? Is there a reason for this French name or only aesthetics? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:E35:8A8D:FE80:253B:D836:C6E6:190D (talk) 23:10, 24 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

This sentence,

The ensuing moral panic and outing of several prominent men as homosexuals eventually involved Hersholt (then Buron) who was reported to the police and admitted to prostitution and sentenced to 8 months in prison.[5]

..........is confusing. Was Hersholt a prostitute himself or was he acting as a pimp for prostitutes? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.138.89.132 (talk) 08:34, 20 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, that's my sentence! He was a prostitute himself! I will try to rewrite it to make that clearer. Tastaturkrigeren (talk) 20:45, 29 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
