Hydroelectric dam?

edit

This article is categorized as Hydroelectric power station. However, there is no any mentioning of production of hydroelectricity in the article. Therefore, I remove this category and WP Energy banner. Beagel (talk) 05:29, 22 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Actually it says that it has capacity of 12 MW, so the category is correct. However, from he power generation point of view it is very small power station. Beagel (talk) 05:32, 22 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Units of volume

edit

If I'm understanding this right, the units in the article were wrong. The article used "Mm3" which according to Litre#SI prefixes applied to the litre is a cubic megametre. That would be a cube 1,000 km on a side or a zettalitre, 1021 L. This dam holds over 2000 of those which I think is enough to raise the world's sea level by about 4 km. I don't regularly do math with big numbers, but it looks wrong to me. The source http://india-wris.nrsc.gov.in/wrpinfo/index.php?title=Jayakwadi-I_D02995, has the figures in "MCM" which I think is million cubic meters. I changed it to MCM; please let me know if I'm wrong. Thanks,  SchreiberBike | ⌨  04:12, 14 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
